How to use persona-atoms

Read the catalog over HTTPS

Every artifact is served under stable URLs with correct content-types:

Resolve a persona composition

A persona composition lists references to atoms by URI and version. To instantiate the persona, fetch each referenced atom and assemble: voice profile → role definition → behavioural constraints → knowledge boundaries → tone parameters → optional work contract.

// pseudo-code
const composition = await fetch("/personas/reviewer-security/atom.json").then(r => r.json());
const voiceProfile = await fetch(uriToUrl(composition.voice_profile.ref)).then(r => r.json());
const roleDefinition = await fetch(uriToUrl(composition.role_definition.ref)).then(r => r.json());
const constraints = await Promise.all(
  (composition.behavioural_constraints ?? []).map(r => fetch(uriToUrl(r.ref)).then(r => r.json()))
);
const workContract = composition.work_contract
  ? await fetch(uriToUrl(composition.work_contract.ref)).then(r => r.json())
  : null;
const toneParams = await fetch(uriToUrl(composition.tone_parameters.ref)).then(r => r.json());
const systemPrompt = compilePersona({ voiceProfile, roleDefinition, constraints, toneParams, workContract });

Resolve higher-order compositions

Panels, pods, and teams live under /compositions/. Their member references point to either personas or nested compositions.

Compatibility rules

Rules in /exports/catalog.json (under the rules key) declare predicates over atoms. Example: a prompt-conformance rule may require that a voice-profile and tone-parameter do not conflict on formality levels. A composition that violates a require-effect rule is malformed.

Runtime binding

persona-atoms ships the catalog and its JSON Schema. Runtime adapters that translate persona compositions into system prompts for specific runtimes (aish, Olympus, AutoGen) are available separately — they bind voice-profile atoms to tone directives and role-definition atoms to capability grants.
